PARADISE ISLAND – BAHAMAS & KEY WEST WITH CYNDY AND JASON: THEY MADE MINKEY THE STAR OF THE SHOW!

Minkey really felt like a king on this trip, because he was treated like one by his new friends, Cyndy Woodham and her boyfriend, Jason. Jason was amazing for being such a sport at putting up with the Minkster. Me and him sat on a throne together, and then he put me on the golden throne by myself. So now everyone has to bow to King Minkey from now on!
The cruiser we went on was the largest of Carnival’s fleet — called the Carnival Breeze. So we even got to travel in style before we ever got to Paradise on Earth!
The first place we went to was Key West, Florida. We didn’t stay there long, but it was nice, and Minkey always likes to see the beautiful palm trees and of course keeps his eyes open for any banana trees he can scamper up on for a snack.
Then we finally arrived in the Bahamas — first to Freeport and our ‘Encounter with the Dolphins’ — Sooooooooo much fun!! — and then to Nassau the Bahamas, and Paradise Island. It has the right name because as you can see by all the pics, it really is a Paradise on earth.

If you look at the pics above, you’ll see several drop-dead beautiful glass sculptures. They’re at the spectacular Atlantis Casino and are the work of Dale Chihuly, one of Minkey Mama’s most favoritest creative geniuses in all the world! The ones with me in them are of the famous sun and moon chandeliers, both costing in excess of $1,000,000. That would buy the Minkster enough bananas for all eternity. Whew!!!
The Atlantis Hotel is too beautiful to be believed. There’s a staircase in the lobby that’s fancier than the one on “Gone with the Wind”. It has columns that are themselves waterfalls and it leads down to the hotel’s own huge aquarium! Also in the main lobby, there’s this incredible map painted on the dome ceiling that has a ship hanging below it that has been around the whole world!
The landscaping and sculptures and water features in it are just as incredible as the hotel. And the hotel is an architectural work of art. Are you surprised Minkey knows big words like that? Well, Minkey Mama had to help me just a little to describe this place. I think she used the word Magnificent a time or two.
Somebody needs to take her there, cos Minkey doesn’t have enough money to do it. He only gets to go to these places because he’s a professional stow-away!! hehe
Well, guys, Minkey has to run. He’s got to get ready for his next trip. Goin back to China, and to Panama City, Florida for a little R&R. I don’t think I get enough of that. HeeeeeeHeeeeee!
