Alaskan Cruise – Minkey with the Neill Family

This was one of the coolest (and Coldest!) trips the Minkster has ever been on. A lady who used to be Minkey Mama’s boss took me with she and her husband. She was a little nervous about taking me; I think she thought everyone would think she was NUTS. But of course they didn’t! Everyone loves the Mink and she found out there’s lots of other nutty people in the world who had their own travel toys (and probably blankies too, if they’d tell the truth).

I got a very special outfit for the trip since it’s so cold there and the Mink is used to Palm Trees and warm places. BRRRRRRRRRRR. Alaska was VERY nippy and it was July even! Anyway, as you’ll see, I had a real Alaskan parka trimmed with fancy white fur and everything! YES!! The Minkster was definitely stylin’.

Kathy, the lady that took me, took really good care of me and fed me bananas at the buffets and everything, except for one incident. All my travel peeps have to do at least ONE very dangerous thing with me, and she did two things. She put me on a railing for a picture, and I was a long, long, way from the ground!! CEMENT ground — not nice soft grass or snow. She even made me do a flip so her picture would be cute …. risking the Minks’ life! I have a picture to prove it and it’s in my slideshow too, so don’t miss it!

THEN she made me pose with a huge bear! I’m sure she was looking for a Moose for me to ride, but luckily, she did’t succeed on that one. I’d still go with her again any day though, cos she let me do lots of cool stuff with them and she’s as fun as well …. a barrel full of minkies! HeeeeeeeHeeeeeeeeee! Her husband was very nice too because he didn’t object to my being along like some guys do. I can be quite the competition for all the girlies as I was for Debbie Gibby’s husband, the couple that took me to Cabo San Lucas.

Anyway, after boarding that HUGE ship and partying and eating our butts off, we went sailing happily off to Anchorage, Juneau, Ketcikan (one of Kathy’s favorite places), Carcross and Whistler in British Columbia, Canada where they’re having the Winter Olympics right now.

Hope all you peeps enjoy the show …… check ya later!

xxxooo Minkey

I hope to some day travel the world to as many amazing countries as The Mink has. I am married with one dog and 2 cats, and a son, Michael (who thinks his mother is crazy for spending so much time ..... and enjoying it .... on a little red monkey). I have many other passions such as marketing online, crazy about animals, landscape design, interior design, photography, handwriting analysis and travelling the world (but only 7 countries so far).
