The Mink thought he had died and gone to Marmossette Minkey Heaven when one of my most favoritest peeps and a long-time travel bud Colene Hightower asked my mom if I could go with her and her family to Disneyworld in Florida. WHOOPEEEEEEEE!!!
I had always wanted to meet Sponge Bob and Patrick the Starfish, so I was hoping they’d be there. I went with Colene, her grand peeps Danielle and Maria, her daughter Lena and son-in-law Ben.
Disneyworld was a land of magic just like everyone has told me. It was beautiful, and full of fun and happy people. We went to Universal Studios there, which I just saw in California, but this was a little different and Minkey had an incredible time at both. I thought surely I’d be ‘discovered’ and become a Star, but it didn’t happen at either studio. Those people must be blind!!
ANYway, at least I did get to meet Patrick at Disneyworld when the girls had their pics taken with him. He was kind of a MASHER! He was like Stalking Colene’s daughter and he kept hugging her and stuff till I think she was a little afraid of him! And the Mink always thought Patrick was the most innocent starfish ever. WRONG. He’s a perv, I guess.
We got to go in Mickey and Minnie’s houses, but they weren’t there. They were WAY cool though, with all their little shoes and clothes and everything. And we went to a haunted house there too, where Minkey lost a lot of fur after being scared out of his skin! There were ghosties everywhere floating around, and even one in the little car with us when we looked in the mirror. YIKES!!!
At Universal, we saw the dark and creepy looking Harry Potter mansion/school as well as a lot of cool places like a whole area on Dr. Seuss, the Simpsons (where I got my pic taken on top of Marge’s huge blue hair), a lot of old movie sets, a cool collection of I Love Lucy Memorbilia, a very old filling station and truck that Dan liked (these are all in the slideshow), and streets in Hollywood (like the one with the famous star’s restaurant, The Brown Derby. Universal was as cool as Disneyworld, and that’s saying a lot!
Well guys, I gotta go now and pack for my next trip.
