Minkey Hangs with Ethan & New Chica

This was a quick trip, but a lot of fun for the Mink to travel with long-time buddy, Ethan.  We went to Long Beach and Newport Beach, California and to Las Vegas … the most shiney and sparkly city in the whole wide world!   And  I got to meet a new chica too, named Martha.

We flew out of D/FW and Minkey got in trouble before we even got on the plane!    I was playing with one of those baggage cart thingies, and Ethan caught me.   I had plugged it in to try and drive it and he hollered at me to get off of it so we could go board the plane for So-Cal and Vegas.

Then we got on the plane, and I argued about strapping in, so …. you guessed it …. I got in trouble again.    I’ve been on several trips lately and I was tired of that big ole fat seat belt.  Ethan made me put it on, so I tried to chew through it, but it was just too big, so I had to wear the stupid thing.     It almost crushed my tiny little one ounce body.   Grrrrrrrrr.

The first place we went was down Pacific Highway #1 to Newport Beach.  That highway is one of the prettiest drives in the country, so Minkey loved that.    It was a good scenery and girl-watching drive.  I had wanted to bring my hot pink speedo with the sparkly waistband, but Ethie told Minkey Mama to get me one like his — down to my knees.   BooooHisssss!    I get more looks in the pink one.   Oh well, WHATever.

When we got to the beach and the ocean, it was gorgeous  there, but a little too cool to swim, so we lolled around on the beach and Minkey got to watch all the girlies go by.   Ethie had on some dark glasses that went around the side of his head like bug’s eyes, so I think he was sneaking some peeks, too.  hehe   That’s a well-known guy trick if you chicas haven’t heard.

I was riding in a Dallas Cowboy’s back-pack  and I though Ethan would NEVER let me outta there.   I started struggling, and fussing and he still didn’t let me out, so I gave him a little nip so he’d put me down!

Then we went to a place called Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles.  Minkey couldn’t figure out why they would put chicken and waffles together and then have a live band at a waffle house, either.   lol   He laughed so hard he started screeching!  We didn’t stay in California too long, cos this was almost like a weekend trip to visit some friends, but it was still really nice.

We went to Las Vegas next, and Minkey was getting a little bored of riding in the car by this time.   I kept fussing in the back seat cos I’m so little, I was having trouble seeing out the window, so I kept asking Ethie where were the scorpions and snakes and to stop so I could pee and stuff to break the boredom, but he was on to me, so he only stopped once.  Then I tried to get in Martha’s purse, but she turned around before I succeeded, and I got in trouble AGAIN.   Man!!   Can’t a little red minkey have some fun?   All I was trying to do was to get some extra gambling $$ for Vegas.

Maybe because I was being such a pill, Ethan decided to give me something cool to do.  HE LET THE MINK DRIVE!!       We went through a tunnel thingy and then onto the strip, and Minkey was so excited, he almost took out the Bellagio til Ethie straighted the wheel for me.   WhooooooHoooooo!    The Mink was flyin’ high.    Yipeeeeee.   Can’t wait to get my license with my picture on it.  I think it will be hunky looking with my gorgeous red mane and black sultry eyes.

The night we came in Vegas, we checked in at a hotel called the Paris Hotel, and Ethan posed me on a pedastal with gold on it and a fancy chandelier above.   I crowned myself King with that throne and everything, so Minkey Mama put a little crown over my head in the pic.

I had stashed over a million kazillion dollars cash in my bag to gamble, but I had a sucky night in the casino and my whole entire winnings was 30 damn cents.   Not even any bananas from those machines that have fruit going round and stopping.  I was madder than a wet hen!

Don’t anybody laugh, or I’ll bite the tar out of y’all next time I see you.    It wasn’t funny.  Minkey cried and cried because he was going to use his winnings to lure a new chica.    $.30 might get him one on Harry Hines back in Dallas, but that’s about it.     Blaaaaah.

The second funnest thing was when I got blitzed in the hotel room after we came home.   There was no food in the fridge, but they stuck a bunch of hooch in there, and I got into some Gray Goose Vodka.  It was sooooo hard for a little minkey to open, but I was really motivated, so I finally got it open. YeHa!

Minkey was feeling no pain after drinking a minkster’s weight in Vodka (a jigger), and his eyes were spinning with little stars and things going around on the ceiling and stuff.   And imagine…..I got caught again!!!   Yup … you guessed it …. by Ethie.  He just never lets me get by with anything.

We went to the airport the next morning to catch a flight back to Dallas, and Minkey slept the whole time because his head was about to blow off from all that vodka.

I still want to go with Ethan again on the next trip though, because he’s a really cool dude, and til I drank all that Gray Goose, we had a great time.
